A few things that are important to me.
Fur-babies, Family and Friends

Not necessarily in that order :)

I am incredibly blessed to have a wonderfully supportive partner of over 35 years.
(I know, I don't look that old!) We started our journey together early, and with only a few bumps along the way, I feel incredibly lucky to have my partner as my best friend and my right hand.

We have a blended family spread across three states, and we always cherish our gatherings, especially at Christmas. These times are filled with laughter, delicious meals, fun activities, and a few beers or glasses of champagne. We share stories from the past year, and the tales of previous years seem to grow bigger and better with each retelling.

Though the old saying goes, "You can pick your friends but not your family," I can honestly say I would choose my family members as friends any day—well, most of the time! 😂

Friends - love them

I can't claim to have a large circle of friends, but I do have many acquaintances. The few true friends I have feel more like family. Once I make a friend, they tend to stick around for a very long time. These are the people with whom I share deep, hearty laughter, creating more laugh lines—now that's living! No matter what we're doing—whether it's boating, dinner, bike riding, or drinks around the pool—we're always laughing and enjoying each other's company.

After a long, hot day, they race me to the pool and dive in before I even get the chance. In the winter, they're quick to greet me and then rush back to snuggle under the lounge rug by the fire. I've always believed that pets bring peace and harmony into our lives, and I truly value having these twins in mine. 😊

Hobbies

Working with my hands has been a passion of mine since childhood. Over the years, I've explored a wide range of creative pursuits, from pottery and photography with 35mm film development to woodworking and building furniture. Currently, my favorite creative outlet is recycling old wooden window frames and transforming them into photo frames or mirrors. We recently completed the renovation of our modern Queenslander home.

Living on an island and enjoying boating adds an extra layer of inspiration and tranquility to my life. The serene environment fuels my creativity and provides endless opportunities for new projects. Whether I'm crafting in my workshop or out on the water, I'm always finding new ways to merge my love for hands-on work with the beauty of island living.
